1. To serve as a regional hub for the development of healthcare services in Rwanda and Eastern Africa, based on Adventist principles and models of care.
2. To attract and affiliate with like-minded domestic and international organizations to bring resources, technologies, and know-how to Rwanda and the East African region.
3. To provide for professional governance, leadership, and administration of healthcare institutions in association with ASOME.
4. To support research and training at all levels of healthcare and health education.
